Completion of Final Details
This stage begins with the initial consultation. Our designer will work with you to create a kitchen
plan and choose materials to suit your style and needs. The designer will discuss the many
options, features and benefits of our products and services, and you will be presented with a
written quote for the work offered. You are not required to make all choices at this point. If you
choose to contract with us, the scope of work may be changed at any time prior to the completion
of the engineering and planning, which is the next step in the process.
One of our experienced lead craftsmen will meet with you to review the plans, material selections
and specifics of the project. We will re-measure all cabinet and room dimensions. We will need
appliance model numbers from you for any new appliances. We will produce shop drawings and
may require a follow up appointment to finalize every detail.
Once we have all of the information about your project, we begin the process of acquiring parts
and materials to construct your cabinets. We will also schedule our project manager, as well as
any speciality subcontractors, for the dates they are required. Our cabinetmakers will build your
cabinets and prepare needed materials for delivery. The week prior to your installation start date,
someone from our office will call to re-confirm that we will be starting the project as scheduled.
Site Work and Installation
We will arrive on-site between 9:30 and 10:30am on the first day. We will review the work being
done and any arrangements for access, restroom facilities, garage storage space, location of utility
shutoffs, and other pertinent information. The project manager will be your main contact for any
questions or concerns while the work is being done. You may contact the engineer or designer if
you have any concerns that are not being addressed by the project manager.
Inspection and Punch List
After the project is complete or is substantially complete, we will call to set an appointment for the
engineer to inspect the job and make a punch list if needed for any additional work or adjustments
required. We will present an invoice at this time for the remainder of the contract, plus any items
you may have added or deleted during the course of the project.
If there are any items left to be completed after inspection, the project manager will follow up to
wrap up the project and let you start enjoying your new space!
